EP7 of the Three Pounds of Flax Series features the entirety of the Barely Free Crew presented as one cohesive yet diverse release.
Friends Nikata and Lorring play significant roles on RIkshaws Shrooms and Cut Castles, respectively while Nature Boy's Sister came all the way to New York to record vocals on Side By Side and South City Surf.
Proletarian, Rikshaw, Nature Boy, Rooster and Seymour Justice bring their usual barrage of synths and sampled drums to the table, while mystery poet Cras and hardcore veteran Charlie Delta exhibit Light and Dark in Barely Free in Numbers, while Rooster Jake has a new video on the way for Coconut Soda. It all kicks of with the Singin Siren Remix, originally from Seymour Justice's Dimension Walk, funked up by Nature Boy like only he can. Shouts to all the homies in St. Louis, Denver, Mammoth Lakes and New York, as well as everywhere else, that's just the places we currently occupy in some way shape or for as Barely Free.
