Genius on Drugs v5/Rosa Parks (Live at Grammophone)

from Three Pounds of Flax EP6 by barely free

/

about

Nature Boy and Prole made this beet up live on the fly with samples, drum loops and theremin. Rooster knew what he had to say to close the show. This was quite possibly the last time the Big 3 shared stage in STL, a special occasion for the 2014 RFT Showcase. Soul Rob made the original song Keep on Pushing that Nature Boy sampled from his Missouri Surf Soul album. This is the fifth recorded version of Genius on Drugs, a song that has evolved with itself and the times better than any Rooster has written. Rosa Parks is an Outkast song, and as homage, Rooster spit Andre 3000's verse off the top to end the show.
